London duo TENDER are a breath of fresh air. Musically their loping, dreamy soul-pop doesn't veer too far from the likes of Oh Wonder, but the way they are releasing their tracks - regularly and without a cynical marketing ploy - is truly refreshing. 'Melt' follows their bracing, '90s-leaning debut 'Legion' and its stellar brother 'Armour' with slow-burning downtempo grooves coming to the fore beside some delicately authoritative vocals. Whoever these two are, they now have our undivided attention. - DC
